Peak Season Surcharge
You may have noticed that there is a huge space shortage on container ships over the last weeks. The space shortage has a big influence on the tariffs and carriers have announced a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS).
The PSS is launched for shipments from Northern Europe to the Far East and/or the Middle East. This depends on the carrier, as well as the amount of the surcharge. The effective date is also depending on the carrier and will apply until further notice.
Currently we are negotiating with carriers, but we ask you to take the PSS into account. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
